Hello there! I am Isabelle, a local 26-year old babysitter from Singapore and the founder of Manna's Dough!

Manna's Dough is a Singaporean brand of handcrafted playdough made from ONLY food ingredients. It's 100% taste-safe, non-toxic and buttery soft! Did I mention that our playdoughs are mold resistant and do not dry out even if left uncapped for >48? Sounds too good to be true? Try it for yourself! What’s in a name?...

Many mummies have been curious about our name! “Is it your kids name?” they would ask! The inspiration behind Manna’s Dough is actually my cheeky chinchilla. His name is Manna! I don’t have kids yet, only a fur-kid, Manna! He was a gift sent by God to me when I was going through a difficult time. Manna is my miracle who has brought me much cheer with his funny antics. The name is also a reminder to me of God’s faithfulness in this small business, and like I always say, God is the real boss of Manna’s Dough!

How it all began…

I was crazy over playdough as a kid! You can ask my mum! I never left a toy store without buying a new tub of playdough Remembering my childhood love for playdough, I thought it would be fun to introduce playdough to the children that I babysit. I started out with commercial playdoughs which frankly didn't quite cut it. They were sticky, greasy and reeked of strong chemicals which gave me a headache. The crumbly texture of commercial playdoughs also created a huge mess and made cleaning up a chore. So, I decided to try making my own playdough. After numerous failed batches of dough, achy arms and many late nights I finally crafted my very own playdough which my clients loved! That’s the story of how Manna’s Dough was born!

We want to build a society filled with love-centric families where children grow up safe, secure and loved.
