Hi, I’m Isabelle — a Singaporean babysitter who started Manna’s Dough with one simple mission: to make playdough that parents can finally love having at home!

What’s in a name?...
Nope — Manna’s Dough isn’t named after kids (I don’t have any yet!). It’s named after my cheeky chinchilla, Manna, who brought me comfort and laughter during a really tough time.
But the name also holds deeper meaning: in the Bible, “Manna” was God’s daily reminder of faithfulness and provision. That same reminder gives me courage to run this little business!
Just like Manna lifted my spirits, I hope Manna’s Dough sparks joy and imagination in your kids — and maybe even buys you a few quiet moments of peace too!
How It All Started...
As a kid, I was obsessed with playdough — I never left a toy shop without a new tub (just ask my mum!). Years later, when I started babysitting, I thought it’d be fun to share that same joy with the kids I looked after.
But the store-bought playdoughs were disappointing — sticky, greasy, and smelling of chemicals. Not exactly the kind of fun I remembered.
So I rolled up my sleeves and began making my own. After countless late nights and recipe tweaks, I finally crafted a dough that was soft, safe, and mess-free — and the kids loved it!
That’s how Manna’s Dough was born: from a childhood passion and a simple dream to bring joy back to playtime.
